Bubble is the most powerful and flexible no-code web application development platform, capable of building virtually any type of web application — marketplaces, SaaS products, social networks, booking systems, project management tools — without writing code. Unlike simpler no-code tools that are limited to form-based apps or content sites, Bubble provides a full programming model with a database, backend workflows, APIs, and a responsive visual interface designer.

The visual programming environment uses a workflow-based logic system: "When a user clicks the Submit button, IF the form is complete, THEN create a new item in the database AND send a confirmation email AND redirect to the dashboard." These conditional workflows chain together to form complete application logic with branching, loops, and scheduled automations — all defined visually. The database is fully relational, supporting complex data structures with privacy rules that control which users can access which records.

The Bubble community is one of its greatest assets: 3 million+ developers have built on the platform, creating thousands of plugins (Stripe payments, Google Maps, real-time chat, video streaming), templates, and tutorial resources.
