Grok is xAI's AI assistant, built by Elon Musk's team and deeply integrated with the X (formerly Twitter) platform. Its defining feature is real-time access to the full X firehose — every public post, trending topic, and breaking news story — making it uniquely capable for anything related to current events, social media trends, and public sentiment analysis.

Grok is available to all X users at a basic level, with SuperGrok unlocking higher usage limits and advanced reasoning capabilities. The model has fewer content restrictions than OpenAI or Anthropic's assistants, which makes it more willing to engage with controversial, edgy, or politically sensitive topics.
